At Hire4guides, we believe in transparent pricing with no hidden costs. Our fee structure is designed to scale with your business, ensuring you only pay for the value you receive.
1. Booking Service Fee
To maintain our real-time calendar technology and secure booking infrastructure, a service fee is applied to each transaction.
- Standard Rate: 1% service fee per month.
- What this covers: 24/7 access to our freelance network, automated calendar syncing, and dedicated corporate support.
- Support available: From Monday to Friday during business hours.
2. Guide Rates
The professional fees for the tours are set directly by the Freelance Guides.
- Rates are displayed clearly on each guide’s profile.
- Prices may vary based on time, extras, and specialization.
- Total Cost: The total amount shown at checkout includes the Guide’s rate + the Platform service fee.
3. Payment Schedule
- Reservation: Payments are processed at the time of booking to secure the guide’s availability on the calendar, but at the moment you only pay the guide service directly to the guide in the local.
- Invoicing: Monthly consolidated invoices for the total of booking service fees to simplify your accounting and VAT reporting.
4. Cancellation & Refund Fees
We understand that corporate plans can change. Our fees associated with cancellations are as follows:

Note: Individual guides may offer more flexible “Super-Flex” policies which will be highlighted on their specific profile.
5. Corporate Enterprise Plans
For high-volume tour operators booking, we offer Enterprise Pricing of 15€ per month.
Benefits include:
- Reduced per-booking service fees.
- Priority access to top-rated guides.
- Dedicated account manager.

6. For Our Freelance Guides:
- Platform Commission: A nominal 15 € monthly fee
- Purpose: This fee covers the cost of document, auditing and technical support, automated invoicing and notifications, real-time calendar and synchronization with your personal calendar, ensuring you receive bookings from our corporate partners without administrative hassle. Also you will hace access to your exclusive employee panel where you can manage your appointments and edit your profile (Details, Services, Working Hours, Special Days, Days Off).

Frequently Asked Questions
Are there any sign-up or monthly maintenance fees?
Yes. For our Standard Plan, there are 1% monthly fees. You only pay when you successfully book a guide, and for the guides there is monthly fee of 15€.
For high-volume tour operators booking, we offer Enterprise Pricing of 15€ per month.
How do I pay?
For the Booking Service Fee we accept paypal and corporate bank transfers. For the Guide Rate you manage the payment directly with the guide. Hire4guides is not responsible for transactions between guides and companies. The amount charged on the website is for informational purposes only and is for the exclusive use between guides and companies.
Does the price include local taxes?
Tax requirements vary by region. Any applicable VAT or local sales tax will be calculated and displayed clearly at the final checkout screen.
