Partner Code of Conduct (Agencies)
1. Professionalism & Safety Standards
All agencies subscribed to Hire4Guides commit to maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. This includes:
- Equipment Integrity: Agencies must provide all necessary equipment for the tour in perfect working condition, meeting or exceeding national safety regulations.
- Legal Compliance: Agencies must hold all valid licenses, permits, and activity insurances required by local law to operate.
- Guide Authority: The freelance guide has the final word on safety. If a guide deems the weather conditions, terrain, or equipment unsafe, the agency must respect the guide’s decision to modify or cancel the activity.
2. Fair Business Practices
To maintain a healthy ecosystem for freelance talent:
- Transparent Briefing: Agencies must provide clear details regarding tour difficulty, meeting points, and expected guide duties before the assignment.
- Prompt Payment: As guide fees are handled directly, agencies commit to settling payments within the timeframe agreed upon with the freelancer.
- Professional Treatment: We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for harassment or discriminatory behavior towards freelance staff.
3. Reporting & Accountability
Hire4Guides operates on a Trust & Quality model:
- Incident Reports: Guides have the right to report agencies that provide substandard equipment or fail to meet legal requirements.
- Verification: Hire4Guides reserves the right to request proof of insurance or operating licenses from any subscribed agency at any time.
- Membership Termination: Failure to comply with safety standards or repeated negative reports from verified guides will result in immediate subscription termination without a refund.
